Repair and maintenance services of medical equipment

Tender description

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust intends to tender for a contract to provide Electronic Bio-Medical Engineering (EBME) including maintenance and repair services. The Trust provides mental health care, community adult learning disability and forensic services to Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, South East London and Kent Prisons. Oxleas NHS FT currently has about 4 300 items of medical equipment for which it is seeking to appoint a provider for the maintenance, repairs, acceptance testing for new medical equipment and safe disposal of redundant equipment; set up and maintain a database of all equipment including service details and records with access to end users. The indicative contract commencement is August 2017 for a 3 year duration. This PIN is for alerting the market of the upcoming tendering opportunity and not a formal commencement of procurement process. A separate OJEU Contract Notice will be issued later. This tender exercise is for the establishment of a service provision for electronic bio-medical engineering including maintenance and repairs for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust using a restricted procurement procedure.
