Repair and maintenance services of mechanical building installations

Tender description

Chelmsford City Council is seeking to appoint two Contractors to a multi supplier Framework to provide planned preventative maintenance for its mechanical systems in several Council premises located in Chelmsford and South Woodham Ferrers, Essex. This contract is to include the maintenance of all water systems and heating systems with the exclusion of air conditioning and air handling systems. The Council will appoint 2 Contractors to deliver these services. The cyclical maintenance of each building will be allocated to the Contractor tendering the lowest annual maintenance cost to that building. The Council reserves the right to alter, at any time of the year, the allocation of these properties in order to achieve best value for the Council.
