LCC are seeking to engage a company to provide staging for the Liverpool International Music Festival in 2017. LIMF will return for the fifth time following four hugely successful years. LIMF brings together global acts, up-and-coming stars, radio favourites and also a platform for local artists to hone their skills, and for many, perform live in front of an audience for the first time. In total over 200 performances took place as part of LIMF 2016. LIMF is effectively split into three main areas which are: LIMF Summer Jam – outdoor music event in Sefton Park LIMF Presents - an array of differently themed musical/artistic projects and performances LIMF Academy - talent development programme for upcoming artists, bands and producer/DJs based in Merseyside between the ages of 13-25 A mixture of ticketed and free events, LIMF 2016 was hailed a huge success - attracting audiences of up to 150,000 people. Central to the festival is LIMF Summer Jam – the music extravaganza at Sefton Park. The music of which is diverse, yet populist - giving audiences access to performances by musicians such as Sigma, The Wombats, Craig Charles and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and many more…….
