Tender description
The purpose of this exercise is to set out the requirements of Liverpool City Council for the provision of the capability to consolidate manage and evaluate log information from key ICT systems and infrastructure. Liverpool City Council operates dual datacentres hosting central servers, both physical and virtual. We run UNIX, Windows, Cisco, VMware Oracle, and EMC systems and infrastructure. As logs are retained on the originating devices the solution is not deemed to need high availability and a single system is sufficient. This system or solution is to be used, configured, and operated by Liverpool City Council ICT staff. Keywords: Log management, SIEM, ICT Systems
