Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length 6 months with potential to extend to 24 months. Latest start date 09/01/2017 Maximum Day Rate Up to £700 Who Speclialist Work With You'll be working with a full team with Service Managers,Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Business Architects, Technical Architects, Automation Testers, Business Analysts, User Researchers and Designers. On your technical team, there'll be a Technical Architect, 2 Node.js developers and a Java Developer to pair with. What Specialists Work On Create Java-based Microservices to resolve Lost, Stolen and Recovered Passports. REST API design and integration, building secure, scalable and fault-tolerant transactional systems, experience using multiple programming languages and tools in an agile environment. Skills & Experience • Senior Software Engineer with exemplary Java Skills • Understand REST and HTTP • Java 8 experience preferred • Experience with Microservices, authentication and authorization • Good enough to provide architectural guidance, understand security concerns • Have a track record of delivery • Ability to mentor junior developers Nice to Haves Open LDAP, Node.js experience Work Location London Working Arrangments Working hours 09:30 AM to 5 PM.
