Hire of trucks with driver

Tender description

The operational process in Moneypoint Generating Station required the transport of material from each of the following processes on Moneypoint site. — Ash haulage from the ash hoppers to the ash disposal area. — And Flue-Gas De-sulphurisation (FGD) by-product haulage from FGD by-product hopper in the Coal yard to adjacent landfill area. This tender award provides for the hire of suitable trucks, vibrating roller and excavator to transport and manage the above. The hire of trucks and other plant is also required either with or without a driver. The contract also includes the services of a Tractor and Bowser for the purpose of dust suppression and sweeping of the haulage route with a station supplied road sweeper and the Loading of Furnace Bottom Ash from the main station jetty on to ships for export abroad. Duration of the framework is over 5 years.
