Tender description

Two years ago Surrey County Council tendered for Supported Accommodation for children and young people. This included both Social Care Placements and Youth Support Service placements, including former Supporting People accommodation and support. SCC entered into a Framework on 1.4.2013 with a number of providers. The Framework was intended to be ‘re-opened’ mid-way through to ensure new entrants to the market would also have the opportunity to bid. The Council is looking for Expressions of Interest from the market in bidding to be accepted onto the existing Framework which has 1 further year remaining on the contract term (expiring end of March 2018). SCC plans to go to tender in early January 2017 and award by 1.4.2017. We are especially seeking providers who offer services such as semi-independent training programs and support to young people who are looked after or care leavers. It should be noted if a Bidder is successful in being awarded on to the Framework this does not guarantee any future work.
