LinkAge Plus service. This procurement is being carried out under the light-touch regime. The LinkAge Plus service is to coordinate effective joined up working across a service network of at least 4 agencies which provide or signpost people to a full range of services that older adults tell us are important to them, including how they would like those services to be delivered. The network will signpost people to the range of services available to them, both within the network and externally. At the heart of this service is the belief that the independence, health and general well-being of older adults is best promoted through greater emphasis on easily accessible, culturally appropriate, preventative services that support older people to age well. This will demand a shared commitment, by a wide range of agencies (not just health and social care), to work together.
