Future Commissioning Arrangements for External Fostering Placements — Market Engagement Event Kent County Council (KCC) and Medway Council would like to invite organisations who are interested in delivering external fostering placements for children and young people up to 18 years across the county of Kent, and Medway, to participate in a Market Engagement Event. The Councils are committed to working together to improve placement choice, quality and sustainable outcomes for our children in care. The aim of the event is to discuss the future demand and needs of our children in care population, and to explore how future commissioning arrangements can best meet these requirements. Interested providers are invited to attend a morning Market Engagement Event on Tuesday 10.1.2017 where they will have an opportunity to discuss their ideas, views and suggestions directly with commissioners. The event will be held in Chatham, but further information including venue details and timings will be sent once we have received an expression of interest regarding attendance.
