Tender description

Provision of iQue screening platform merging high throughput screening with high content flow cytometry for TB Research Group, National Infection Service, Public Health England (PHE). This purchase is to support the screening of antimicrobial activity on current and novel drugs against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The iQue Plus Screener is the only instrument on the market capable of the speeds required for this work, as it can analyse samples from a full 96-well plate in <5min compared to 30-90min for other machines. Additionally, the Forecyt software unique to the iQue allows the analysis of samples at the plate/assay level, allowing the easy and speedy generation of such readouts as kill curves, IC50s and MICs. The ability to analyse large sets of parameters such as drug combinations, timecourses and large panels of clinical strains is essentially for TB drug evaluation.
