Tender description
A Design Team is to be appointed by South Cambridgeshire District Council to provide a full design and management service on a number of housing developments within the District and surrounding areas where appropriate. The Contract is to run for an estimated period of 3 years with the option to extend each and every year for a further 2 year term and it is expected that between 0 and 10 sites with a total Construction value of approximately 10 000 000 GBP (10 million) likely to be developed during that period. The Council wish to appoint an Architect as Lead Consultant to act as Design Team Leader and to be responsible for the design and management of the whole project including the coordination of the work of other members of the Design Team in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work 2013 and as incorporated into the– RIBA Standard Agreement 2010 (2012 revision).
