Tender description

Contract Award Notice The Centre for Continuous Manufacturing and Crystallisation (CMAC) of the University of Strathclyde and the Procurement Office are seeking competitive tenders for the multi-lot purchase of various X-ray instruments that will enable detailed understanding of the internal and external 3D structure of a wide range of samples and objects. Most of these instruments will be situated in our Level 6 labs in TIC. We are also heavily engaged in teaching PhD students and undergraduates and have numerous visitors from various industries thus we would like to be able to utilise benchtop instruments as teaching tools. The X-ray instruments have been split into the following lots: Lot 1 SAXS Instrument; Lot 2 Single Crystal XRD Instrument; Lot 3 Powder XRD Instrument; Lot 4 Benchtop X-Ray Micro-CT Instrument; Lot 5 X-Ray Nanotomography (Nano-CT); Lot 6 Powder XRD Instrument for dedicated PDF analysis; Lot 7 Benchtop Single Crystal XRD Instrument; Lot 8 Benchtop Powder XRD Instrument; Lot 9 Single Crystal XRD Source Upgrade.
