Tender description

Waterproof clothing. The Secretary of State for Defence, acting through Leidos Supply Ltd (‘The Authority’) as appointed by Leidos Europe Limited (‘The Delivery Partner’), has awarded a contract to Iturri Limited (‘the Contractor’) for a fixed quantity supply of Waterproof Garments in accordance with the Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency notice published on the 9.10.2015. It is considered that this contract can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 32(3)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council (Regulation 32(5)(b) of the UK Public Contracts Regulations 2015) for reasons of additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended either as a partial replacement of supplies or installations or as the extension of existing supplies or installations where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance.
