Tender description

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is looking to contract for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of friction modifier mechanical equipment and fluid for a substantial proportion of its light rail vehicles (trams). In the first instance, TfGM is looking for a ‘Proof of Concept’ (trial) with the installation of this equipment on five (5) trams and subject to satisfactory completion of this trial, the successful supplier will install the equipment to a substantial proportion, if not all, of the remaining fleet (currently 120 trams).
