BACKGROUND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY Project Ref: C/173/ES/16/SW BACKGROUND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint a contractor to undertake an electrical project for the replacement of the existing main LV switchboard at substation D located at the premises. The Contractor shall provide a full installation package providing the replacement switchgear, all interconnections and earthling plus testing, builder’s works and the disconnection and removal of the redundant equipment. BACKGROUND TO THE COUNTESS OF CHESTER HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large district General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital. The Trust has almost 4,000 staff and provides a range of medical services to more than 445,000 patients per year from areas covering Western Cheshire, Ellesmere Port, Neston and North Wales.
