Tender description

The Scottish Ministers intend to award a contract for an ‘Online Productivity Suite’ for Glow, the national online platform for education in Scotland. The solution will be cloud-hosted and provide Glow users with access to a range of tools and services, free at the point of use, to facilitate collaboration and sharing of educational resources in classes, schools, local authorities and nationally. For example, email, calendar, file storage, blog, web site creation. The tools and services will be available to Glow users to access from any internet enabled device at any time and place of their choosing. Users come from across all 32 local education authorities, independent schools, universities and colleges dealing with Initial Teacher Education, and the national education bodies. It will cater for up to 2 000 000 users. It should be noted that it is intended this will be a 0 value contract.
