Request for Information for a Greater Manchester Child Health Information Service

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) working for and on behalf of NHS England would like to invite potential providers to respond to a market engagement exercise to enable Commissioners to review and assess the scope of a Child Health Information Service across the Greater Manchester footprint. The Child Health Information Service has 3 core elements: 1. An IT system the Child Health Information Service System [CHISS] - The systems while they vary considerably generally provide some sort of cohort analysis function as well as a call and recall function https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/417076/Child_Health_Information_240315.pdf 2. A child health records department (CHRD), the people who run the system and 3. A personal child health record (PCHR), the ‘Red Book’ including supporting the introduction of an electronic red book Providers interested in taking part in this exercise will be requested to complete a Request for Information (RFI) response document. A bidder engagement event will be held in Greater Manchester on Friday 4th March 2016 for those providers who wish to contribute further to this market engagement review process. Details regarding this event will be provided in due course. NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this RFI exercise and communicate with organisations who have expressed an interest. Accordingly, all communications and submissions will be conducted via the In-Tend portal, https://in-tendhost.co.uk/necs. It is free to register on the portal, which can be accessed at any time of day. A dedicated helpdesk is available should potential providers have any queries and can be contacted on 0844 2728810 (Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm) / support@in-tend.co.uk. The RFI response document will be available to all potential providers once they express an interest via the In-tend website. Please note that information collected during the RFI exercise is not a binding agreement nor is it a guarantee of any forthcoming agreement. The RFI document submission deadline is 12 noon on Wednesday 24th February 2016. Any RFI’s submitted after this time may not be considered.
