Tender description

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council (The Contracting Authority) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for Textiles Recycling as detailed in the Contract documents and upon the terms and conditions contained in the attached Conditions of Contract. The Contract Authority is tendering on behalf of the South Wales Waste Management Group (SWWMG). Note: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at http://www.sell2wales.gov.uk/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=40432 The fundamental purpose of the contract is to provide a reliable, effective and satisfactory service for the contract period in order to maximise the recycling of textiles from the Individual Authorities recycling centres. The successful contractor will be required to provide suitable textile collection banks, sited at various locations within the boundaries of the member authorities, and provide a collection service at the required frequencies stated in the contract documents.
