Tender description
Leicester City Council continues to support the Adventure Playgrounds (APG’s) across the City and by providing this training opportunity it is our intention to ‘skill up’ the current workforce. The training will place each of the APG’s in a more favourable position to provide alternative educational packages to children and young people, who require time out from the traditional educational path and allow for meaningful interventions to flourish. It is also anticipated that each student will have an opportunity to work towards a national qualification while engaged in these projects. Our intention is to contact head teachers, offering school groups the opportunity to visit the APG’s, and promote learning outside of the classroom. Keywords: Training, Bush Craft, Outdoors
