Tender description

Belfast City Council has hosted the Continental Market in the grounds of the City Hall since 2004. Delivery of the Continental market has now evolved into a 6 week Christmas Market (November to December) and a 4 day Spring market (May). The market has evolved significantly since its first inception and now attracts over 1 000 000 visitors. The current contract expires on 30.6.2016 and Belfast City Council now wishes to engage with potential market organisers to ascertain the level of interest in a future tender process. This process involves organisers being asked to provide information on the following; — the organisation and implementation of these markets. — innovative options for the development of venues. The information obtained will be utilized by the Council for the purpose of informing the process from which a company will be selected to organise and deliver continental market(s) in Belfast Your response to the following questionnaire will not be evaluated or scored as this exercise is not part of a procurement process.
