Older Persons Housing Related Support Services (Floating)

Tender description

This is a new floating support service that will be ‘needs and assessment based’. It will focus on people over the age of 55 living in homes rented by registered providers and older people living in the community, who are eligible for housing related support. This floating support contract will provide approximately 170 hours per week. Potential providers must be able to demonstrate an understanding of needs assessments for housing related support as all existing tenants. New tenants will be referred to the Provider following a successful needs assessment. The contract will be for a period of just under two years with an option year extension subject to funding and performance (2+1). Organisations must register their interest against this advert in order to receive any changes or notifications issued by the Council during this tender process. The Council will not be held responsible for lack of communication to any organisation who does not register their interest. This tender is subject to no additional comments by 13/02/2016.
