OFRS038 Provision of Vehicle Tracking System and Devices

Tender description

Following a transport review of OFRS`s lease and pool vehicles, recommendations were made to support our Mobility Strategy. To progress the strategy and meet our legal obligations, we need to undertake the fitting of tracker units to all light fleet, including pool cars and vans, this will then provide a system with an audit trail of vehicle use, monitoring of journeys, driving behaviours, MPG and consequently reduce fuel, CO2, journeys and enhance safety of drivers. The introduction of tracking devices will be in conjunction with an online fleet booking system. OFRS are looking at both lease agreement (to include as a minimum: devices, system, fitting, maintenance and licences) and a purchase outright option (with a fitting, maintenance, licence agreement to support them).
