Laundry-management services

Tender description

The Contract for the provision of Linen and Laundry Services to the Virgin Care Sites falling within the scope of this tender process will be offered for the term of 5 years with the option of extending 2 times for a period of 1 year, subject to the continued operation of Sites by Virgin Care. The contract will commence on 8.4.2016, with the service commencement on 8.5.2016. Virgin Care wishes to appoint a single Supplier for all of the Sites falling within the scope of this document, and to establish a close working partnership with that single Supplier. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event that Virgin Care were to be replaced as provider of services to the Sites during the initial 5-year contract period, the Contractor is required to continue to provide services to the incoming provider on the same terms, if the incoming provider so desires, with no additional transition charge (further information can be found within the Procurement documents).
