Prior Information Notice — PIN. Insulation Programme (Loft, External and Internal) The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert the market that Curo Group is preparing a tender exercise for an Insulation Works Programme in the near future. Curo have an obligation to provide our customers with warm, affordable and safe homes. As part of our requirement to comply with Decent Homes, and to improve the energy efficiency of our homes we need to engage in a programme of supplying external and internal insulation. Previous work to the single skin and solid wall properties with an (External Wall Insulation) has been delivered. Some of these properties are now starting to fail and require remedial work. The technology has improved since these properties were insulated, and there are more effective ways to eliminate cold spots. The contract will cover supply and fit of the correct insulation for each home. We will provide a comprehensive specification for each archetype and the solution will incorporate the best technology and installation available. The indicative 4-year budget is circa 4 000 000 GBP. This notice does not relate to an award of public contract. A future tendering exercise is envisaged in relation to the aforementioned supply which will be the subject of a separate OJEU Contract Notice.
