Prior Information Notice — PIN Supply and Installation of Windows and Doors Programme The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert the market that Curo Group is preparing a tender exercise for the Supply and Installation of Windows and Doors in the near future. Curo have an obligation to provide our customers with warm, affordable and safe homes. As part of our requirement to comply with Decent Homes, and to improve the energy efficiency of our homes we need to engage in a programme of supplying Windows and Doors. There are many styles of windows and doors on our homes. Our Historic stock is taken out of this evaluation, as we need to comply with Conservation commitments which are to repair and not renew. We still have some wooden casement windows, (1st Generation uPVC and aluminium single and double glazed units, from the 1980's.) All of these are in need of replacement, in order for Curo to achieve Decent Homes standard. The indicative programme currently comprises of: Combined Programme. Year Units: 2016/17 825 2017/18 805 2018/19 562 2019/20 503 2020/21 431 *a unit indicates a property. This notice does not relate to an award of public contract. A future tendering exercise is envisaged in relation to the aforementioned supply which will be the subject of a separate OJEU Contract Notice.
