Tender description

Hampshire County Council will be procuring Public Health Nursing Services (Health Visiting) for 0-5 years olds and their families who are resident in Hampshire (this does not include Portsmouth, Southampton or Isle of Wight). It is anticipated that the contract term will be 16 months plus options to extend up to a maximum period of 24 months giving a total maximum contract term of 40 months. Anticipated annual expenditure is 17 686 000 GBP giving a potential maximum contract value of 58 953 333 GBP. These services will work with individuals, families and communities to improve the health and well being of local populations by assessing and responding to local health needs. The service will deliver the national Health Visiting model which includes 4 levels of service; 5 universal reviews and 6 high impact areas. Registered Health Visitors will lead skill mix teams and coordinate delivery of the universal ‘Healthy Child Programme Pregnancy — 5 years’. The Council is inviting organisations who have an interest in, and the capability of, delivering such services to a market engagement event to consider: — What innovative methods of service delivery could be considered; — What potential providers see as areas of risk; — What (if anything) would stop interested parties applying for this business opportunity, prior to a contract notice being issued and applications being invited.
