Tender description

The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply a 3D cell and tissue (organoid) cultures and the proposed work will be either long-term imaging at the system or imaging and return to the laboratory for several stages of imaging. A secondary function is to continue work carried out from incubator based imaging systems, with high magnification time lapse. Key to the success of the instrument in the laboratory will be accurate incubator level of cell maintenance The Microscope system will provide low impact (amount of light), high sensitivity, high level of environmental control and monitoring, for imaging 3 dimensional cell and tissue cultures. The capture of data must be achieved with a minimal light requirement. The proposed solution must consist of an integrated instrument to support the expected range of applications. This is a time and budget restricted project. Contract start date — 22.3.2016. Contract end date — 22.4.2016. The contract is not open to other purchasers.
