English HIV and Sexual Health Commissioners Group

Tender description

This service is commissioned to support a strategic forum to bring together those with commissioning responsibility for sexual health, reproductive health and HIV services, to facilitate improved population and patient level outcomes in sexual health and HIV in England. The Group links with the Public Health England, Department of Health, NHS England, the Association of Directors of Public Health and Local Government Association. These links help ensure the experience of sexual health, reproductive health and HIV commissioners is influencing the commissioning landscape. Through effective networking, commissioners are supported in their role of improving population and patient level outcomes in sexual health and HIV in their local area. Public Health England, as the commissioner holds a non-voting honorary position on the executive of the group and enables the English HIV and Sexual Health Commissioners Group (EHSHCG) to operate.
