Tender description
Bristol City Council intends to consolidate several highways work streams into 2 8-year term tender contracts which are to be launched and fully operational on 1.4.2017. Term tender contracts include; Contract number 1 Winter Maintenance and Contract number 2 Highway Maintenance and Minor Improvements. Appointment of a contractor for the provision of a winter maintenance service for Bristol's highway Network within the boundary of City of Bristol. Contract involves the provision of winter maintenance services, including precautionary and post salting on scheduled routes, along with spot salting, snow clearance, the installation and maintenance of salt bins and the supply and delivery of rock salt. To undertake emergency, call-out response to repair defects to City of Bristol highway Network.
