Tender description

Hertsmere Borough Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to Project Manage the construction of a new retail outlet and hotel on the site of Newberries Car Park in Watling Street Radlett. The Contract will be the JCT 2011 Design and Build Contract. Due to the nature of the requirements of the retailer and hotel operator these portions of the contract will need to be very heavily designed. The value of the construction is estimated at around 8 500 000 GBP. The successful Consultant will supply the following services: 1) Overall Project Management /Clients Agent; 2) Drafting and submission of planning application including all professional services to facilitate this submission to include though not exhaustive. a) architecture design and access; b) transport assessment and travel plan; c) flood risk assessment and surface water management; d) acoustic statement and baseline noise survey; e) energy and sustainability assessments; f) contamination land and geotechnical Investigation; g) tree survey; h) town centre impact assessment; i) ecological survey and reports; j) foul drainage assessments. 3) All professional (building) services including: a) Architectural; b) Planning Services; c) Mechanical and Electrical Services Engineer; d) Structural Engineer; e) Principal Designer Services (CDM 2015 Regulations); g) Clerk of Works Services; h) Quantity Surveyor; i) Budget Monitoring and Management (including authorities to pay).
