Tender description

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) was established by the Police and Fire Reform Act (Scotland) 2012 (the Act) and replaced the previous eight legacy services. SFRS commenced operations on 1.4.2013 and are in the process of rationalising the legacy set up of 8 Control Rooms to 3. 1 of which is located in Dundee. In the interim period until a new solution, which is currently being tendered for, has been awarded, it is necessary to ensure that the North Service Delivery in Dundee remains in operation. The interim solution shall ensure current service provision continues until such time as the new solution has been awarded and fully implemented.
