Child Exploitation Recovery Service

Tender description

This contract is to provide a child sexual exploitation intervention and recovery service. It is expected that the worker will be based within the Referral and Assessment Service. The service will provide direct work to service users who are considered to be at risk of/affected by child sexual exploitation either because of presenting behaviours i.e. being missing from home or school, drug and alcohol misuse, risky behaviours, association with peers/adults of concern etc or where other intelligence suggests a high degree of risk. Case will be identified through the MASE panel and the worker will be expected to work with a minimum of 12 and maximum of 15 cases at any one time. We are looking for the services to be delivered by either qualified social worker staff or other professionally qualified practitioners with significant experience of operating within a wider safeguarding framework. The service will also provide CSE advice and consultation to professionals as and when required, together with training on behalf of the BSCB as required.
