Waste disposal site construction work

Tender description

Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor(s) to provide a Bulk Disposal from Site service (Lot 1), Tipping facilities service (Lot 2) and Waste Disposal by Skip (Lot 3). The following is a summary list of the Contractor's responsibilities under the contract. For Lot 1 provision of Vehicles for the Bulk Disposal from Site including all tipping and handling costs in accordance with a programme of work agreed with the Employer. For Lot 2 provision of tipping facilities only but including all handling costs where the Employer transports site arisings himself. For Lot 3 provision of a skip disposal service from the Employers depots and sites. Assessment of the Health and Safety implications and implementation of safe systems of work, plans and appropriate control measures. This above list is not exhaustive and doesn't absolve the Contractor of any of their responsibilities not mentioned in the list but which are required to deliver the service.
