TC138 Weedkiller Application to Adopted Highways

Tender description

The Authority is seeking a Provider to supply a borough-wide herbicide application services (“the Service”). The Framework Agreement will be for two full applications and an optional third (full or partial) application per year. The Authority is looking for a Provider who can ensure effective and timely weed control using best practice principles and who is willing to pro-actively innovate in order to reduce the prevalence of weeds on adopted highways and resulting complaints, and help to drive down costs by reducing the need for re-visits. The Authority will apply the principles of Best Value, ensuring competitive pricing coupled with a demonstrable quality service delivery. ***PLEASE NOTE: THE CHEST SYSTEM WILL BE UNDERGOING ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE DURING THE PERIOD OF 6:30PM 26 DECEMBER - 6:30PM 29 DECEMBER 2016.
