Staff and Visitor car parking at St. Mary's Hospital site is provided widely across the site and has evolved with the site's development over a number of years; as such there has been no strategic approach to the provision of car parking. The Trust, through WLP, is currently considering options to progress a programme of redevelopment at the site and this will include the alignment of car parking We are looking at all options for the management of Car Parking and Security services. Proposals are invited to provide a fully managed package in the provision of Car Parking and Security with an income stream to the Trust. Proposals are invited to provide a fully managed package in the provision of Car Parking & Security with an income stream to the Trust to deliver the following: Car Parking: — Minimise congestion and access problems to the site. — Maximise access to hospital facilities by appropriate users. — Administer efficient systems for control of parking (permits, ticketing, parking charge notices, equipment, signage). — Provide continuity and high quality of service. — Minimise administration and service costs to the Trust. — Maximise car parking income within the agreed charging structure of the Trust. — Minimise parking charge disputes. — Provide a safe clean environment for parking within St Marys Hospital. — Minimise disruption from changes to parking infrastructure and systems. — Support developments to the site and help identify improvements to parking infrastructure for the Trust. Security: — Ensure a safe environment for patients, service users, visitors and staff. — Carry out regular foot patrols. — Key holding Lock and unlock facilities as required. — Carry out appropriate training for Car parking & Security staff. — Understand challenging behaviour and their role in the management of this within the trust. — Support to the Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) in the general conduct of their duties.
