Tender description
Support equipment. The Mine Counter Measures and Hydrographic (MHC) Project Team is conducting independent trials in conjunction with the Royal Navy Maritime Autonomous Trials Team (MASTT) of unmanned underwater vehicles for future mine countermeasures operations. The equipment used varies from land vehicles to unmanned underwater vehicles. To maintain this equipment MHC is considering a maintenance support package. Some of the equipment requires specialist support and may necessitate contractor engagement with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Authority envisages that the scope of the requirement will include Level 2 & 3 maintenance, repairs, upgrades, technical support, spares support, Post Design Services (PDS), operator and level 1maintainer training and safety case support. In addition, it is envisaged that the equipment detailed below will be stored at the Authority's premises at Portsmouth Naval Base. Equipment to be maintained and supported — Supacat SUV 600 is a Landrover Discovery 4 with the addition of a 3rd axle and uprated braking components an interchangeable rear body and fifth wheel coupling has also been fitted. — Supacat Personnel, Accommodation and Transportation (PAT) trailer. The PAT trailer contains living accommodation and space to transport other MASTT equipment. — Supacat 6X6 MK3 All Terrain Multi Purpose vehicle fitted with a Pathfinder hydraulic crane — A V8 M500 Ocean Modules Remote Operated vehicle complete with Hydrolek HLK 43000 Manipulator arm, winch and RNMB HAZARD deck launch plate — ROV/Manipulator arm Launch and Recovery System fitted to RNMB HAZARD — Hydroid Inc Remus 600 transportation trailer — Hydroid Inc Remus 600 Launch and recovery system including stowage frame — Oceanserver Iver 3 UUV — SeeByte Ltd autonomous behaviours software (fitted to Remus 100 and Iver 3 UUV) — QinetiQ Ltd Portable C2 Operating Centre (ACER) — ATLAS Elektronik UK Ltd Future Exercise and Ranging Mine — High Precision Acoustic Positioning System (HiPAP) — Portable Generators — 3 (2 x 5.5Kw & 1 x 1.6Kw outp.
