Tender description

The Council wishes to procure a ‘commercial off-the-shelf’ insurance claims handling and recording system, with the added consideration of a workflow and document storage facility, to enable the Council to become a virtually ‘paperless’ operation. The contract will be awarded on the 6.3.2017 and if necessary the data will be transferred and system implemented and live by 6.7.2017. The contract will run from 6.3.2017 for two years until 5.3.2019. The Council will have the option to extend the contract every two years up to 5.3.2027. (2+2+2+2+2). Under Regulation 27 of the PCRs 2015 the Council wish to award a contract for the provision of a commercial off the shelf (COTS) solution to handle and store insurance claims. Key requirements are: — ability to provide a recording facility for insurance claims. related financial information and documentation. — provide a recording facility for insurance policy information. — provide a comprehensive reporting function. — Web based solution. Supplier's tenders will be evaluated based on price: quality and the contract awarded to the supplier which is the most economically advantageous submission. We have a maximum budget of 230 000 GBP however market engagement has indicated cost of 100 000 GBP to 230 000 GBP
