Provision of a Street Lighting Service Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a Street Lighting Service. Project Description Swindon Borough Council is responsible for the routine maintenance of all street lights under its ownership in Swindon and is tendering for the provision of a Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) accredited, National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS), or equivalent street lighting contractor to assist in the delivery of the existing street lighting service. Full details relating to the Services are provided in the tender documents. Contract Period The contract will be let for an initial period of one year, with the option to extend for two years. If fully extended the contract will not exceed three years. Extensions will be in let in periods of 12 months. The relevant tender documents are included within this project webpage as attachments. Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 16th January 2017, 12.00GMT by hardcopy CD to Swindon Borough Council, Law and Democratic Services, Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH If you require any clarifications on the tender documents please submit these in writing via e-mail, including the project name clearly in the e-mail title, to Jayne Townley at JTownley@swindon.gov.uk by 28th December 2016, 12.00 GMT.
