Tender description

The University of Manchester will be home to a new national research and innovation centre in advanced materials, the Sir Henry Royce Institute (SHRI). The new Institute, supported by industrial partners, will have its Hub in Manchester. The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply a Dilatometer, to include the heating and quenching of samples at rapid rates, measuring dilatation, Heating samples and performing multi-step heat treatments. Contract start date — 26/01/2016. Contract end date — 27/03/2017. The contract is not open to other purchasers.
