Illustration and Print of Children's Book on the Body, Human Reproduction and Growing Up

Tender description

The HSE Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy Programme is requesting tenders from animation/illustration companies with experience in developing visual content for children. The Programme is developing a book for young children on human reproduction, the human body and other elements of the Relationships and Sexuality Education Curriculum. The text for the book has been developed by author and Primary School Teacher, Kathleen O'Rourke, who is best known as the creator of Granny O'Grimm, an animation that was nominated for an Oscar. The successful company with work with the Programme to illustrate, design and layout a 30 page full colour children's book in A5 size. the final product should be of a similar quality standard to a commercial children's book. Printing costs are required for 30,000 copies and 60,000 copies. This project relates to Action 6 in the National Sexual Health Strategy Action Plan.
