Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Term Service Contractors to deliver ‘Call off Services’ under a Highways and Transportation Professional Service Contract) to provide ‘Call of Services’ (the undertaking of ad-hoc projects and the secondment of specific consultant's staff to work with the London Borough of Hillingdon on a range of projects) as and when required. Details of the Project The Highways and Transportation Professional Services included are set out below; 3.1 Highways and Traffic — Design of major town centre and public realm schemes, planned carriageway and footway works, bus stop accessibility, road safety schemes, cycling and school travel plan schemes. — Traffic engineering including traffic calming, road safety, cycling, pedestrian, bus priority, junction improvement, traffic signals, freight, congestion reduction schemes and traffic signing — Parking management scheme design — Traffic sign schemes — Streetscape & landscape design — Safety audits — Public rights of way including consultation on definitive maps — Street lighting design — Environmental studies and advice– including air, noise, biodiversity, geo-technical, pollution and remediation — 3D Topographical and Land surveys — Disabled access improvement studies — Feasibility studies and designs. — Detailed designs. — Preparation of estimates. — Traffic modelling — Traffic surveys.
