Tender description

The Service is for an Intensive Therapeutic Fostering Service for looked after Children who have complex needs and require more robust risk management in order to overcome significant adversity in their early years. Caerphilly County Borough Council, Social Services Department (The Council) wishes to engage with a suitably qualified organisation for the purpose of delivering an Intensive Therapeutic Fostering Service for Looked after Children and Young People. The Service Provider will deliver an evidence based service within a Psychological, CAMHS based model which is already being (or has been) successfully delivered in other Council / Health Board areas. The service will be delivered through a multi systemic approach; providing a variety of different types and styles of intervention simultaneously at many different points. The approach will place particular emphasis on four psychological models; attachment, family systems, person-centred and social learning approaches.
