Tender description
The Framework Agreement will supply Thames Water's (TW) Final Effluent Monitoring requirements of Analytical Instrumentation while also fulfilling maintenance requirements as deemed necessary. Contracts awarded under the Framework Agreements may be awarded directly by TW or by one of its approved contractors or an approved sub-contractor. The supplier will be expected to offer the same levels of service and commercial benefits to TW and its approved contractors and sub-contractors. This notice is a request for expressions of interest to participate in a bid process to establish the relevant Framework Agreement(s). TW will consider how lots may be combined (if at all) subject to responses received from applicants and in particular where this is considered to offer economic advantage. TW reserves the right not to award Framework Agreements for one or more Lots. Project will be split into two separate Lots as follows: (1) Supply (2) Maintenance. See Section VI.3) for further information. Lot 1- Supply of Analytical Instruments (Final Effluent Monitoring). Applications are welcome from companies that are able to meet our requirements for the following parameters: Lot 1a (Mandatory Parameters) Ammonium, Turbidity, Temperature, pH and Dissolved Oxygen. Lot1b (Additional Parameters required on a site-by-site basis) Ammonia, Phosphorous (total and soluble), Metals (Iron and Aluminium), Nitrates, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Biological Oxygen Demand and Conductivity. Applicants should clarify the range of required products/parameters they are able to offer. Lease packages/arrangements will be considered for this requirement. From time to time certain projects may be tendered as non-framework projects. Lot 2- Supply of Maintenance Services (Final Effluent Monitoring). Applications are welcome from companies that are able to meet our requirement to implement a proactive planned maintenance program for Lot 1a (Mandatory Parameters) Ammonium, Turbidity, Temperature, pH and Dissolved Oxygen. Lot1b (Additional Parameters required on a site-by-site basis) Ammonia, Phosphorous (total and soluble), Metals (Iron and Aluminium), Nitrates, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Biological Oxygen Demand and Conductivity. It is envisaged that up to 4 awards will be made under Lot 2 to cover the majority of Thames Water's requirement. Applicants should clarify the range of required products/parameters they are able to maintain. Lease packages/arrangements will be considered for this requirement. From time to time certain projects may be tendered as non-framework projects.
