Tender description

Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) is a procurement consortia which establishes and manages a range of Framework Agreements. Our members include Social Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Universities and NHS Trusts. We invite you to express an interest in the supply and distribution of a broad range of goods required primarily for the maintenance of the members property portfolio. The goods will be supplied to the customer via a range of models including access to a counter, a delivery service and van stock management. The choice of the supply method and Lot(s) used will vary according to the needs of the individual customer. The tender will be divided into the following lots: 1. Supply and Distribution of General Building Materials; 2. Supply and Distribution of Timber and Sheet Materials; 3. Supply, Distribution and Management of a Multiple Product Catalogue; Further regional lots may also apply, this will be detailed in the Contract Notice. The scope of this Lot includes the supply and distribution of general building materials predominantly via delivery to a designated site and over the counter collections. There may also be scope for the provision and replenishment of van stocks dependent on the individual Member's requirements. The range of products likely to be supplied under this Lot include, but are not limited to, cement, aggregates, timber, sheet materials, plaster and plasterboards, roofing materials, sealants and adhesives, drainage materials and bricks and blocks. This Lot may be split further into regional lots, this will be fully detailed in the Contract Notice and Tender Documents. The scope of this Lot is for the provision of a ‘one stop shop’ supply agreement. This will include the supply and distribution of a wide range of materials via delivery to designated sites, over the counter collections and the provision and replenishment of van stocks including a full van stock management service. The range of products likely to be supplied under this Lot include, but are not limited to, general building materials (cement, aggregates, timber, brick and blocks etc.), plumbing and heating materials, electrical materials, PPE equipment, joinery materials, ironmongery, glazing, tools and plant. Suppliers applying for this Lot must be able to supply a full range of materials either directly or via third party arrangements. This Lot may be split further into regional lots, this will be fully detailed in the Contract Notice and Tender Documents. The scope of this Lot includes the supply and distribution of timber and sheet materials predominantly via delivery to a designated site and over the counter collections. The range of products likely to be supplied under this Lot include, but are not limited to, timber in cut sizes and full packs, sheet materials including ply, chipboard and MDF, structural timber and mouldings. This Lot may be split further into regional lots, this will be fully detailed in the Contract Notice and Tender Documents.
