Who Speclialist Work With The specialist should expect to work with a minimum of product manager, technical architect, user researcher, developer. The team may also include content design, delivery manager, analytics experts and other roles, but this is to be determined during the remainder of the alpha. The designer will also be expected to collaborate with stakeholders at other government departments. Skills & Experience Experience as an Interaction Designer within Government Evidence of experience producing interactive prototypes for the web Evidence of strong experience using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JS Experience working with GOV.UK frontend toolkit and elements, and GDS design patterns Demonstrable experience working closely with user researchers to interpret user research findings Experience translating user needs into clear service propositions and user interfaces Has worked on user-centred agile software projects, and can demonstrate collaboration with a development team throughout the project lifecycle Nice to Haves Demonstrated experience of working on government services to the digital by default service standard Strong understanding of the Government Digital Service’s Design Principles and Digital Service Standard.
