Tender description

Technical support for the preparation of the council's Local Plan: site selection process and development of associated infrastructure development plan. Epping Forest District Council sought to commission consultants to provide technical support in the preparation of the Local Plan in order to undertake in October/November 2016 a consultation pursuant to Regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning)(England) Regulations 2012. The two main areas of work were the undertaking of the site selection process and taking forward an associated infrastructure delivery plan. It is critical that this work is undertaken in conformity with the policy in the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Practice Guidance and with the Government's regulations on Local Plans and that the work should take account of recent Inspectors' decisions and the Local Plan timetable.
