Tender description

Ulster University is seeking to procure an Injection Moulding (IM) machine. The IM should be fully capable of processing thermoplastic polymers of high melting point (above 350 °C) and their composites within a wide range of processing parameters. This includes suitable screw characteristics that must allow processing the aforementioned materials. Oil rather than water heating should be used in the injection unit in order to allow reaching suitable tool temperature.
