Tender description
The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking quotations from suitably qualified organisations to become our South London Domestic Retrofit Scheme Delivery Partner. Four South London Boroughs - Sutton, Merton, Kingston and Croydon (the ‘partner councils’) are jointly seeking to develop a domestic retrofit scheme to support homeowners and landlords to improve the energy performance of homes and domestic properties in South London. The partner councils are seeking to appoint an industry ‘delivery partner’ to collaborate on developing and delivering a South London Domestic Retrofit Scheme (the ‘scheme’). London Borough of Sutton is leading the tender process to select a preferred delivery partner, on behalf of the four partner councils. The partner councils have funding to pay the selected delivery partner to undertake the initial scope of work detailed below to develop a delivery plan for the scheme. No funding is currently secured for the subsequent stages to deliver the scheme. Securing any subsequent funding will be dependent on the outputs of the initial study and delivery planning work. The contract will initially commence on 22nd December 2016 until 31st March 2017 with the option to extend the contract for a further 6 months at the discretion of the Council. The Council is tendering this quotation through the London Tenders e-tendering portal. Prospective bidders are advised to register their interest by going to https://www.londontenders.org/procontract/supplier.nsf Sutton Council currently contracts with a diverse group of voluntary, statutory, partnership, social enterprise, consortium, mutuals and private sector providers. This list is not exhaustible and encourages a range of organisations, regardless of size, to apply for this provision. The Council shall not be bound to accept the lowest cost nor any quotation, and reserves the right to accept all or part of your bid. The award of contract shall be based on the most economically advantageous quotation submitted. Deadline for submission of a completed Quotation Questionnaire is 12pm 16 December 2016. Keywords: energy efficiency, domestic retrofit, retrofit
