Tender description

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge (‘the Authority’) invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to Tender for the Contract for the Provision of a Carers Support Service in the London Borough of Redbridge (‘the Contract’). The Contract will commence on 1.4.2017 and, subject to satisfactory performance, will operate for a period of three (3) years, terminating at midnight on 30.3.2020 (‘the Contract Period’). At the sole discretion of the Authority and subject to the satisfactory performance of the provider the Contract Period may be extended for up to two (2) years (in such period or periods as the Authority deems appropriate) providing a total possible Contract Period to midnight on 31.3.2022. The Contract is to provide a Carers Support Service (‘the Service’) to provide inclusive and holistic support to Carers within Redbridge, helping Carers to maintain their quality of life and enhance their capacity to maintain their health and well-being through the provision of a range of person centred, coordinated and outcome focused services. Tenderers shall be experienced in providing similar services and shall also be required, as part of their Tender, to complete a Selection Questionnaire containing information about their economic and financial standing, technical capability and other general information. This information will be assessed to establish that the Tenderer is financially viable and technically capable of undertaking a contract of this nature. Also, as a pre-condition to their Tenders being evaluated, Tenderers will have to satisfy the mandatory and discretionary grounds for exclusion contained in the Selection Questionnaire.
