Replacement Windows (PVCu) to NFDC properties in the Ringwood area

Tender description

The Tender requirements are for replacing the existing windows to housing and flats at Ringwood, to generally match the existing design while incorporating the profiles/windows described within the Specification. The selected contractor will be required to provide a competent site manager in order to conduct the works efficiently in order to meet the timescale and programme, who will also be required to communicate effectively with the residents keeping them informed on all aspects of the work programme and to deal with their queries/complaints. All as detailed in the Preliminaries, Materials and Workmanship and Works sections of the Specification. The Contractor whose tender is accepted will be required to enter into a Contract with the Client for the due and proper execution of works. The Authority proposes a contract period of around 24 weeks with the successful Tenderer. By confirming an expression of interest in this contract opportunity, tenderers will automatically receive a link to the tender information including the full specification, contract terms and tenderer response forms. The form of contract will be the JCT Minor Works Contract 2011. Tenderer’s shall be deemed to have read and made themselves familiar with the provisions of this form of contract.
